In Maryland, the minimum legal Maryland car insurance coverage is $30,000 per person $60,000 per accident for Bodily Injury Liability coverage. $15,000 is the minimum Property Damage Liability coverage. The State of Maryland also requires Uninsured Motorist coverage to match the liability limits.

In the District of Columbia, the minimum legal DC Car Insurance coverage is $25,000 per person $50,000 per accident for Bodily Injury Liability coverage. $10,000 is the minimum Property Damage Liability coverage. The District of Columbia also requires Uninsured Motorist coverage to match the Bodily Injury Liability coverage except for Uninsured Motorist Property Damage which is $5000.

In Virginia, the minimum legal Virginia Car Insurance coverage for Bodily Injury or death of one person is $25,000 and $50,000 for Bodily Injury or death of two or more people. The minimum coverage for Property Damage liability is $20,000.
